Big emotion for Dune fans. Vanity Fair magazine unveiled this Monday exclusively the first image of the new film adaptation of the science fiction epic published by Frank Herbert in 1965.

In this first photo of the film by Quebecer Denis Villeneuve (to whom we owe Blade Runner 2049 in particular ) whose release is scheduled for December 18, we see the young actor Timothée Chalamet, the interpreter of Paul Atréides, walking on Caladan, his native planet.

A successful teasing for Vanity Fair which will devote an entire repot this Tuesday to the long awaited new cinema version of Dune , which also counts in its cast Javier Bardem (Stilgar), Josh Brolin (Gurney Halleck) or Oscar Isaac and Rebecca Ferguson) ( Duke Leto and Lady Jessica Atreides).
