130 sightseeing buses stop and "Hato Bus" tour paused on April 11 at 19:16

The sightseeing bus company, Hato Bus, in Tokyo, has declared a state of emergency and has stopped all bus tours, and around 130 sightseeing buses are shut down in the garage.

A picture taken by the NHK helicopter from above at around 2 pm on November 11 showed that about 130 yellow sightseeing buses were neatly stopped in the garage of Ota-ku, Tokyo.

According to the "Hato Bus", most of the 135 buses now owned are in this garage, and usually no such buses are parked during the day.

"Hato Bus" has suspended all 100 tours, mainly in Tokyo, including regular sightseeing courses and strawberry hunting, starting from the 8th of this month in response to the declaration of emergency.

This means that all tours have been suspended since the Great East Japan Earthquake.

According to Hato Bus, "We decided to suspend all flights as a company that mainly focuses on sightseeing because we declared a state of emergency and became self-restrained. We hope that customers will understand."
