According to Koshigaya, the infection was confirmed to be a female employee in her 50s who lives in the city. The symptoms are mild, and Koshigaya City has been investigating behavioral history and close contacts.
The number of people infected with the new coronavirus announced in Saitama Prefecture now totals 295.
