"We are reaching a point where it may seem that the initial enthusiasm for confinement and our desire to do things gradually dissipate. This is why it is so important to continue to focus on the positive and enjoy this time together. It is true that It is not a holiday in use, but we can take advantage to create moments so special that they may even become a tradition for years to come, "says Abel Domínguez, health psychologist and director of Domínguez Psicólogos.

So that the spirits do not decay, Domínguez has prepared, in collaboration with Mattel, a list with nine tips to fully enjoy this unusual Easter:

1. Keep enjoying the traditions. There is always the possibility of adapting family traditions to the indoor format. With the little ones, we can create our own procession at home combining all our toys such as our action figures, dolls or MEGA Bloks building blocks. Also, let's not forget to find time to prepare the famous Easter French toast with the family

2. Do special activities. Plan different activities every day, linking them to the special moment of Easter. We can prepare gymkanas, crafts, search for Easter eggs at home or paint Easter eggs with the family

3. Create new traditions. A tradition is created when people have enjoyed an activity so much that they only think about repeating it, associating it with a specific moment. We will create this moment to repeat it the following year until it becomes a family tradition.

Taking into account the current context, it is an opportunity to positively remember those Easter holidays we enjoyed from home. This tradition can range from a special recipe prepared as a family to a dance with choreography of everyone's favorite music ; or even a day of Easter dedicated to lifelong board games like Scrabble, Pictionary or UNO.

4. Take advantage to stimulate our creativity. We can take advantage to unleash our imagination throughout Easter, adapting to what we have in mind for each day.

We can create our own video clip dancing with the family or even record a documentary about things that happen at home. We can also encourage creativity through crafts such as painting, creating our homemade Hot Wheels track or even building our own city by combining all our toys.

5. Stay physically active. It is important to eat well and stay active during these days. A good way to do it with family and children is through dancing. Dancing together stimulates mirror neurons and links you to the person you are doing it with in a special way.

Thanks to the internet, we have access to a wide variety of videos that teach us to dance alone, as a couple and also with children. For example, we can learn the special dance of Cloudees or enjoy a Barbie masterclass from the influencer Alexity. In addition, we can create special moments and traditions, such as creating the Easter dance

6. Discover new cultures from home. Create playful activities with children accompanied by learning related to the world. For example: brainstorming where they would like to travel in the future, finding out things they did not know about where they live, looking for information about different cultures of the world today and in the past, watching videos or documentaries on the internet or creating recipes for typical food from a special place, among many other options

7. Find moments for yourself. Take turns with your partner or the rest of the adults who live at home and look for your moments of disconnection to get away from the screens and noise. It is a good time to read, listen to music, the radio or also listen to podcasts such as The Fisher-Price Rattle, where you will find a wide variety of content for parents from maternity experts, in addition to stories to share with the family.

8. Train the mind to think positive. Doing the exercise of getting three positive things a day every night makes us focus our minds to focus more on the good.

9. Transform homework into something positive. Now that we have involved children in household chores (maintenance of their rooms or even the rest of the house), some conflicts may have arisen. A possible solution may be to turn these tasks into a game and give points for the tasks completed. Thus, at the end of the confinement they can exchange it for a gift or prize
