300,000 thank-you masks from China April 10, 11:52 at the Japanese Red Cross Society Osaka Branch

As mask shortages continue due to the new coronavirus, a trading company headquartered in Liaoning Province, China, donated 300,000 masks to the Japanese Red Cross Osaka Branch and other organizations.

The mask was donated by Liaoning Chengda Group, a general trading company headquartered in Dalian, Liaoning Province, China. In order to thank the mask support from all over Japan to Wuhan, China, he offered to donate 300,000 masks manufactured in China.

At the Japanese Red Cross Society Osaka Branch in Chuo-ku, Osaka, six staff members carried cardboards with surgical masks off trucks.

At the reception ceremony, Secretary-General Keiko Oe handed a letter of appreciation to the company's representatives. The masks will be distributed to facilities for the elderly and disabled in various parts of the prefecture.
