The official Weibo branch of the Zhifu Branch of the Public Security Bureau of Yantai City, Shandong Province informed the public on the evening of the case that “the listed company executive Bao Moumou was accused of sexually assaulting a daughter for four years”. The police report pointed out that the investigation work is still in progress, and the case will be handled strictly in accordance with the law to effectively protect the legitimate rights and interests of the parties.

The police reported that on April 8, 2019, a woman reported to our bureau that she had been sexually assaulted by her “adopted father” Bao Moumou for more than three years. Our bureau filed the case the next day and asked the procuratorate to intervene in advance . After investigation, based on various evidences, it was concluded that Bao Moumou did not constitute a crime, so he decided to withdraw the case on April 26, 2019, and notified the parties.
Later, according to some new clues provided by the parties and their lawyers, our bureau decided to file the case again on October 9, 2019, and did a lot of investigation and evidence collection in the local and other places involved. Investigation work is still ongoing. Our bureau will strictly handle cases in accordance with the law and effectively safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the parties.
