When the shop selling hot and dry noodles downstairs in the hotel opened, Liang Shun was the first visitor; after the Wuhan East Lake Cherry Garden was only open to medical staff, Liang successfully used shift time to see the cherry blossoms more than 20 kilometers away. . Liang Shun thought that it was the best hot dry noodles he had ever eaten and the most beautiful cherry blossoms he had ever seen.

21-year-old Liang Shun is the youngest nurse in Wuhan Jinyintan Hospital. This big boy who has been cared for by his predecessors has been defending against the epidemic in the ICU ward for more than 3 months since December 29 last year.

Because he was the youngest in the department, before the arrival of the new coronary pneumonia epidemic, Liang Shun was generally in the ICU ward to take care of the least ill patients. Some people would help him to deal with anything. Everyone's evaluation of him is, "Tighten the screws from time to time, or they will loose." Since the outbreak of New Coronary Pneumonia, Liang Shun has provoked the girders alone. For more than three months, he has been recognized by many people. He also feels that he "had grown up suddenly since he first came to the department".

Patients who have just recovered are anxious to write the word "family"

A few days ago, Liang Shun received a call from patient Huang Mingcai (a pseudonym), thanking the medical staff for pulling him back from the death line. Now that he has been cured and discharged, he wants to invite the medical staff to eat and express his gratitude.

Huang Mingcai's phone made Liang Shun's feelings mixed. He was one of Liang Shun's most impressed patients. When Huang Mingcai recovered from the rescue, Liang Shun was doing nursing operations beside his bed.

The sedative effect has not completely subsided, and Huang Ming has already had some consciousness. He wants to express something, but he cannot speak because of the tracheal intubation. Liang Shun told him: "You can extubate tomorrow and stick to it." He took Liang Shun's hand and let go. Liang Shun took the paper and pen, and Huang Ming tremblingly wrote the word "family".

Liang Shun asked him if he wanted to contact his family. Huang Mingcai nodded and wrote down his wife's phone number. Liang Shun used his mobile phone to call Huang Mingcai's wife. Huang Mingcai, who was unable to speak, could only listen to his wife saying that none of the family members were infected, and they were very safe. The middle-aged man shed tears while listening to his wife's report, and Liang Shun was very impressed with this scene.

Huang Mingcai successfully extubated the next day and was transferred to the general ward a few days later. When Huang Mingcai called Liang Shun after he was discharged from the hospital, he had forgotten to call his family in the ICU (because the sedative effect had not subsided at that time), but he was a bit impressed when listening to others.

Not all patients were transferred out of the ICU and recovered like Huang Mingcai. Liang Shun told reporters that some patients were transferred out of the ICU and sent back, and some patients left after the medical staff exhausted everything.

Will stick to the end

On the day of December 29 last year, Liang Shun was on shift, from 5 pm to 1 am the next day. It was during this period that Jinyintan Hospital received the first batch of patients with new coronary pneumonia, and all 8 patients were sent to the ICU. It was also from this day that Liang Shun's battle against epidemic was officially launched.

Liang Shun remembered that the first batch of patients was sent in 10 beds and persisted until January 20 this year. One night, Liang Shun is in charge of 3 patients with 8 beds, 9 beds, and 10 beds. Dr. Liang Shunhe is changing the trachea of the intubation for 8 beds-this is a job that cannot be suspended, otherwise the patient will be in danger of life. . During the operation, another patient with sudden cardiac arrest was sent downstairs to be rescued.

At the same time, the heart rate of a 10-bed patient fell to only 30-40 beats per minute. After replacing the trachea, the doctor immediately rescued the patient with cardiac arrest, and Liang Shun rescued 10 patients. Previously, the lives of 10-bed patients were basically maintained by drugs and machines. Liang Shun first gave the patient cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and then pushed epinephrine and booster drugs. "Pull his heartbeat back first." After adrenaline propelled, the heartbeat recovered to more than 60 beats, but it fell again within a few minutes. Liang Shun pushed epinephrine every 5 minutes, and cooperated with other rescue methods for half an hour. However, the heartbeat rhythm of the 10-bed patient finally became a straight line on the monitor ...

Liang Shun ’s protective equipment needed to wear two layers of gloves, which would weaken his tactile sensation, especially when he was given an injection, "he could n’t feel the elasticity of the patient ’s veins." In order to be successful at once, Liang Shun usually takes off a glove when sterilizing the patient, disinfects the hand, and then injects the patient, disinfects the hand after the injection, and puts on a new glove. Although the vast majority of patients under Liang Shun's care were in a comatose state and had no feelings about these ambulances, Liang Shun still tried to get them better care.

Liang Shun has lived in Wuhan since he was 6 years old. He likes to eat hot and dry noodles. He also likes to play on the lively Jianghan Street when he is resting. When he went to work on Jianghan Street a month ago, the street scene of almost no one made him feel bleak.

Because of the efforts of thousands of medical staff like Liang Shun and the perseverance of the 9 million Wuhan people, Wuhan has already passed the darkest moment. On March 24, the Hubei Provincial New Coronary Pneumonia Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters issued a notice: From April 8 onwards, Wuhan City lifted the control measures for the passage from Han to Hubei. Wuhan is about to resume its former vitality.

The number of patients in Jinyintan Hospital has recently increased because it accepts new coronary pneumonia patients transferred from other designated hospitals. The number of patients in Liangshun's ward has been reduced to eleven or two, but recently it has increased by three or four. Liang Shun said that Jinyintan Hospital, as the designated hospital for medical treatment of public health emergencies in Hubei Province and Wuhan City, will fight this epidemic until the end, and itself and colleagues will also be the last medical staff to do the finishing work.

Proud of Jinyintan Hospital

Two years ago, 19-year-old Liang Shun entered the Jinyintan Hospital after graduating from the health school. Jinyintan Hospital is located on the outskirts of Wuhan, far from the city center. Before the new coronary pneumonia outbreak, many people in Wuhan did not know about the existence of this hospital. When Liang Shun introduced his work unit, he was worried that everyone had taboos about infectious diseases. He generally said that the Wuhan Medical Treatment Center, "others think this is an emergency center."

It was also after the start of the New Coronary Pneumonia epidemic that Liang Shun ’s parents knew that he was working in an infectious disease hospital, and this outbreak specifically treated New Coronary Pneumonia patients. On January 23 (Layue 29), Liang Shun returned to his hometown in Xiaogan after leaving work at 1 o'clock in the middle of the night. He wanted to return to his hometown with his parents for a meal with his two days off.

At 5 pm on January 24, Xiaogan also began to close the road. Liang Shun didn't know the news until 4:30 pm. He went home and carried the bag and immediately set off for Wuhan. Before leaving, his parents were extremely worried and even urged him not to return to Wuhan. Liang Shun said: "The epidemic is so serious that it lacked medical care. How can I hide at home."

Later, there were more media reports about Jinyintan Hospital. People in the hometown knew the role of Jinyintan Hospital in the epidemic and the significance of Liang Shun's work. Some relatives said in the group that Liang Shun was the pride of the people in the village. The whole village was proud of him, and his parents gradually affirmed and supported Liang Shun's work. The junior high school students who have not contacted for a long time will also ask Liang Shun's work situation and ask him to take good protection.

Now, when Liang Shun introduces his work unit, he will directly say: "Jinyintan Hospital", with a tone of pride.
