Olivia Wilde brought together all of her fictional doctors to send a message to caregivers in the field in the midst of a coronavirus pandemic. The one Dr. House called Number Thirteen in the cult series wanted to thank those who inspired her for several seasons and who find themselves facing an unprecedented global pandemic.
"I just want to say thank you to you, the real heroes of the healthcare system, and I'm not alone, others want to thank you," she said in the introduction.
All heroes in white coats
In a nearly four-minute video posted on his Instagram account, the heroes of Scrubs , Zach Braff and Donald Faison, praised the "courage" of the medical staff. Patrick Dempsey of Grey's Anatomy also praised the nursing staff. Edie Falco of Nurse Jackie hopes that caregivers will find "some comfort in knowing that they are thinking of you and praying for you".
