Kanagawa Mildly ill patients are accepted at accommodation in Hayama Town, responding to the spread of infection April 8 18:21

Kanagawa Prefecture has announced that it will begin accepting people with mild symptoms at the Shonan Kokusaimura Center from September 9 to respond to the spread of the new coronavirus.

Kanagawa Prefecture is working with local governments in the prefecture to develop an acceptance system called the `` Kanagawa Model '', while seeking asymptomatic and mild people for medical treatment at home or hotels, oxygen administration etc. Necessary patients with moderate illness are treated intensively at "Priority Medical Institutions", and we aim to secure a system for severely ill patients to be treated at advanced medical institutions.

Governor Kuroiwa said at a conference held on the afternoon of the 8th that one of the initiatives aimed at people with mild illness was the Shonan Kokusaimura Center, an accommodation facility operated by the third sector of the prefecture in Hayama Town from the afternoon of the 9th. It revealed that those who had no symptoms or those who had mild symptoms started accepting those who agreed.

The facility has about 100 rooms, with nurses stationed during the day and 20 prefectural staff members working as staff members 24 hours a day to check their physical condition.

In addition, Yokohama City plans to use the building on the site of the Yokohama City Municipal Hospital, which has been relocated early next month as a destination for people with mild symptoms, and plans to accept about 200 people.
The city aims to start accepting it next month.
