According to the AFCD, pets will be tested for viruses during quarantine. If the pet's virus test result is negative, the pet can be taken away after the pet owner completes the quarantine.

According to the agency, there are currently 2 dogs and 1 cat among the pets currently tested by the virus who are positive for the new coronavirus. One of the cats is continuing quarantine at the animal center.
