Four people aboard the Apex are currently hospitalized in the intensive care unit at the Saint-Nazaire hospital center. Two others were also admitted last week but have since left the hospital.

More than 300 people were also able to leave the ship to be repatriated to their country of origin. The others remain confined on board the liner, under the supervision of the health authorities.
