Palestinian clowns painted their faces, wore wigs, put large red noses and, above all, put medical masks to entertain children in the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip, amid public isolation measures to combat the Corona virus pandemic. Dozens of children stood on the streets, or looked through the windows in the old city of Hebron to watch clown games and tricks.
In Khan Yunis, in the south of the Gaza Strip, clowns wore their colorful dresses in narrow streets, delivering balloons to children looking out of windows.
Fayez Muhareb, one of the clowns from the Alwan artistic team, said, "Stay in your house and we are a manger. Today, we entertained them indoors on the homes due to the corona virus in Gaza, so schools have nothing to do with them." .
