7 new infections confirmed in Saitama Koshigaya and Kawagoe New coronavirus 20 April 03:20
Koshigaya City and Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture, have announced that a total of seven people have been newly infected with the new coronavirus.
Newly confirmed infections were male employees in their 50s and self-employed men, all living in Koshigaya City, and male employees in their 20s and 40s, all living in Kawagoe City. There are seven male singers in their twenties, unemployed women in their fifties, and seven freelance males in their twenties.
Among them, a self-employed man in Koshigaya City was confirmed to be infected by a friend who had dinner in Tokyo last month and was found to be infected.
The other six do not know the route of transmission.
The two cities are examining their actions and close contacts in detail. Infected people of new coronavirus announced in Saitama became 212 people.
