Post Malone has been sued by singer-songwriter Tyler Armes, who claims he was not properly credited or paid for his work on Malones song Circles . The charges were brought against the singer and his label Universal Music Group on Tuesday, Rolling Stone reports.
Armes says he is co-author of the number 1 hit, but was not recognized for this. Armes says he contributed to the song's chords, bass line, and guitar parts during a recording session in 2018.
Malone would "in bad faith refuse to give Tyler Armes the honor and part of the winnings due".
Armes was a band member of the Canadian rock group Down with Webster and has previously collaborated with artists such as Timbaland, Murda Beatz, Justin Tranter and Jesse Saint John.
