Décryptage invites you today to come back to an exceptional testimony: that of the researcher Roland Marchal. This African specialist has just spent more than nine months in Iran, a prisoner of the regime.

Publicity

Nine months of loneliness, interspersed with absurd interrogations that have tested him nervously and psychologically. He was able to return to France a fortnight ago, but he left Iran knowing that his colleague and partner Fariba Adelkha, she was still detained. During the long months of detention, they were able to meet three times, a few minutes, no more. Roland Marchal does not hide it: these nine months have been a real test for him. For his first interview since his return to France, he chose RFI and Radio France. And we will hear for the next 20 minutes extracts from his story, accompanied by Christophe Boisbouvier who received it.

Roland Marchal , researcher at CERI Sciences Po, specialized in civil wars in Africa (Extracts from his interview by Christophe Boisbouvier)
