Over 3.1 million. This is the number of masks that arrived in New Aquitaine in the middle of last week. The region has, according to the Regional Health Agency (ARS), again benefited from "a wave of delivery of the national stock" in the midst of the Covid-19 epidemic.

Thus, some 680,000 masks (505,500 surgical masks and 174,000 FFP2 masks) were distributed (or will be distributed at the beginning of the week) to pharmacies, intended for liberal health professionals. In detail, 18 masks (of which six FFP2 masks maximum per week) will be distributed per week to doctors, medical biologists and nurses, 18 to pharmacists, six to midwives, six to physiotherapists (including 2 masks meeting FFP2 standards maximum) per week) for carrying out priority and non-reportable acts.

Now regular pharmacy deliveries

Nearly 2.9 million surgical masks and 223,500 FFP2 masks have also reached health establishments (public and private health establishments, follow-up care and rehabilitation establishments), home and medico-social hospital structures ( Nursing homes, structures for people with disabilities, structures for precarious people), home help and care services and health transporters.

The ARS recalls that dentists are no longer part of the list of health professionals who can be supplied with dispensaries, as are the fire and rescue services (SIS) which benefit from their own staffing circuit.

These deliveries to pharmacies and to the regional hospital groupings (GHT) will now be regular. They will take place every week on the basis of available national stocks distributed according to the needs of the regions.
