Recently, an enthusiastic citizen in Jinping County, Honghe Prefecture, Yunnan Province picked up a "big face cute bird" on the road and handed it over to the local Forest Public Security Bureau.
After identification, the large bird suspected of being an owl is a barn owl, and is a national second-level protected wild animal. After careful inspection of the barn owl by the police, it was found that it did not have any physical trauma, and it was suspected that it could not find suitable food and fell to the side of the road due to lack of physical strength.
At present, this barn owl has good vital signs and is now temporarily raised in the Forest Public Security Bureau of Jinping County.
