Sagamihara City announced that four men and women, including doctors working at Kitasato University Hospital and firefighters in the city, were infected with the new coronavirus.
According to Sagamihara City, new cases of the new coronavirus infection were confirmed by a male doctor in his thirties, a male employee in his forties, and a wife of a male who has already been confirmed to be infected by Kitasato University Hospital. The hospital confirmed the infection of a female nurse in her 20s on the 3rd, and the city is conducting tests on approximately 60 inpatients and staff who had contact with the city. There was no contact with the teacher and it was not subject to the inspection.
The city has decided to expand the examination to patients and staff who have come into contact with this doctor, as both nurses and doctors do not know the route of transmission.
