Australia: Koalas rescued from recent forest fires regain their freedom - 20 Minutes

Good news in these times of crisis! In Australia, four adult koalas and a baby were released after being saved last January from the recent forest fires by the animal protection organization. Since January, nearly 12 koalas have been collected by the Taronga Zoo in Sydney before being released.

Nearly 10,000 koalas lost their lives in these forest fires that ravaged southern Australia and which are now almost all extinguished.
