In detail, the Regional Health Agency has recorded 1,021 patients affected by Covid-19 since the start of the epidemic, 105 more than the day before.

The authorities also deplore the death of 82 people in hospitals in the region, 11 more in 24 hours, and distributed as such: 36 in Loire-Atlantique, 18 in Maine-et-Loire, 13 in Sarthe, 8 in Mayenne and 7 in Vendée.

Situation in nursing homes

While the government is slow to communicate on the situation in the Ehpad, the regional health agency speaks in total of 18 deaths since Saturday, in these medico-social establishments. Wednesday evening, she estimated at 419 the number of residents with symptoms (possible or confirmed cases). This figure was 263 among the nursing staff who supervise them.
