The French family business Segetex-EIF, which manufactures FFP2 type health protection masks intended primarily for medical personnel, via its subsidiary Valmy, in Mably (Loire), is once again producing at full capacity in China.
"We restarted last week the activity of our factory in Wuhan", capital of the Chinese province of Hubei, home of the pandemic, said its management on Thursday.
One of the main suppliers of surgical masks in France
This unit had been shutdown for several months due to the Chinese New Year and the coronavirus crisis, which resulted in a long period of factories being closed in this region.
Thanks to this Asian production unit, Segetex-EIF is traditionally one of the main suppliers of surgical masks in France, where it notably has the AP-HP market.
