A new type of coronavirus infection, mainly among students at Kyoto Sangyo University, was confirmed a day again, with as many as 42 people as of 3:00 pm.
In the case of Kyoto Sangyo University in Kyoto, three graduates who returned from a trip to Europe were confirmed to be infected before the government requested a waiting at home. Then, a group of infected people called "clusters" centered on the participants of the farewell party for two seminars where three people participated before confirmation of the infection and the social gathering of the circle. In addition, the infection has spread to those who have contacted Kyoto Sangyo University students.
One of them was an exchange meeting for revitalizing the community held in Ide-cho, Kyoto Prefecture last month, in which infected students participated. By March 31, eight out of eight people were confirmed to be infected by the officials and local residents who were present at the exchange meeting.
In addition, in Toyama City, two people, including one who had a meal with a graduate of Kyoto Sangyo University who had been infected for one day, were confirmed to have been infected by two of their 20's friends.
Since the students returned to their parents' home during the spring break or moved after graduating from school, infections were known not only in Kyoto but also in 11 prefectures such as Wakayama, Ehime, and Osaka. The number of infected people in the vicinity is 42 as of 3:00 pm.
