The start of the third week of confinement due to the coronavirus brings funeral figures for Spain . This Wednesday, the country exceeds the figure of 100,000 infections and, for the fifth consecutive day, there are more than 800 more deaths in one day: 864 people have lost their lives since yesterday, a new sad record. There are already 102,136 those infected by Covid-19 in our country, which already has 9,053 deaths .
As a positive number, 22,647 patients have been discharged. 5,872 people are still admitted to the ICU throughout Spain, and Catalonia continues to be the community with the most intensive care requirements, with 1,769 people who have passed through these units in their hospitals.
The upward trend in both infections and deaths from coronavirus continues . Spain has 7,719 new infections in the last 24 hours and 864 new deaths.
