Pene Pati, and the cast of Romeo and Juliet, on the stage of the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux. - Mickaël Bosredon / 20 Minutes

From La Bohême to Faust , via Le Barbier de Seville … An exceptional gala around the greatest opera arias and duets, given on March 11 at the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux, will be broadcast in full and free this Tuesday at 9 p.m., on the Facebook page of the National Opera of Bordeaux.

This show had been performed by the artists of the production of Romeo and Juliet (with notably Pene Pati and Nadine Sierra, or even Adèle Charvet), joined by Amina Edris and accompanied by the pianist Jean-Marc Fontana. It was one of the last events of the Bordeaux Opera, before the curtain was lowered due to confinement.

Concert by Benjamin Bernheim, great French lyric tenor, April 3

The Opera was forced to cancel a total of 25 performances, scheduled at the Grand Théâtre and the Auditorium, until April 30. Wishing to "maintain a link with its public", the establishment mobilized around the #CultureChezNous operation, and will propose in the coming days other free meetings.

Don't miss the great French lyric tenor Benjamin Bernheim on April 3 (music victory 2020) accompanied by ONBA (Orchester National Bordeaux Aquitaine), and on April 8 cellist Camille Thomas alongside ONBA and of the Choir.

These two events will also be offered at 9 p.m. on the ONB's Facebook page. The perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of opera and classical music.
