Rafael Berrio, born in San Sebastián in 1964, was one of the most prestigious musicians on the national alternative scene thanks to a work developed from the early 1980s to the present day, with a last solo album, 'El Niño Futuro' , released last year.

His first album, integrated into the UHF group , came to light in 1981, a prelude to the two important works he signed with his second set Amor a Traición , as early as the 1990s.

Subsequently, he signed two more albums in 2001 and 2005 under the name Deriva , before beginning his solo career with his own name, Rafael Berrio, with whom he has signed his last four works.

With Joserra Senperena as producer he recorded '1971' and 'Diarios' in 2010 and 2013, respectively, and completed this stage of his career, the most prolific, with 'Paradojas' in 2015 and 'El Niño Futuro' in 2019.

He also had a brief foray into the cinema, by the hand of Jonás Trueba, in whose film "La Reconquista" (2016) he played a small role, in addition to putting the music on.

In recent months, his health condition had worsened, which prevented him from offering some scheduled concerts.
