The director of the Singer Laren museum in the Netherlands said on Monday that robbers stole a painting of Vincent Van Gogh after the storming of the closed museum due to the outbreak of the new Corona virus.

"There was a storming of the museum ... it broke into the museum last night and stolen a painting by Van Gogh," said Evert Van Auss, director of the museum, 30 km southeast of Amsterdam.

He explained that the stolen painting was entitled "Garden of Nunn der Spring", and Van Gogh painted it in 1884 at a time when he was staying at his father's house.
The value of the painting is estimated between one and six million euros, according to local media.
