Three new family members living with a nurse have been newly infected, and the number of confirmed infections in Shizuoka prefecture is now eight.
According to Shizuoka City, the infection was confirmed in a total of four women nurses and three nurse families at Shizuoka Municipal Hospital in Aoi Ward.
According to the people involved, the female nurse did not go to work due to fever and waited at home, and after being tested for viruses on the 30th, the infection was confirmed.
The city also conducted tests on three families living with the nurses because of the possibility of close contact, and these three were also confirmed to be infected. The number of confirmed infections in Shizuoka prefecture is now eight.
According to the city, nurses are not in charge of the infectious disease ward and are not involved in nursing persons who have been infected so far.
Shizuoka City will hold a press conference from 10:00 pm on the 30th to explain the details of the situation.
