Kitakyushu City has announced that it has been confirmed that men in their 60s living in Kokura-Kita Ward have been infected with the new coronavirus. The city will check the men's behavioral history and rush to identify close contacts.
A new type of coronavirus infection was confirmed in a man in his 60s living in Kokura-Kita-ku, Kitakyushu.
The man was hospitalized at a medical facility in the city to treat the illness. He had a fever of 37 degrees on the 27th of this month, and the fever fell the next day.
However, a fever of up to 42 degrees Celsius occurred on the 29th, and a medical institution consulted a health center, and on the 30th, a test revealed a positive result.
Men continue to be hospitalized, but their condition is stable.
The city of Kitakyushu has decided to check the history of men's actions and hurry to identify close contacts.
