Bus operations resume in all cities in our province

1.3 million passengers were sent on the 29th

Hubei Daily (Reporter Lei Chuang, Correspondent Cai Shaoqu) On March 29, with the operation of some buses in Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County of Yichang City, it marked the restoration of bus operation in all cities, counties and districts of Hubei.

With the improvement of the epidemic situation, on March 12, Zhuxi County took the lead in restoring part of the bus line operations in the province, and then successively resumed bus operation. On March 25, Wuhan City resumed the operation of 117 bus lines and gradually increased to 180.

Statistics show that 1,144 bus lines have been restored in the province, with a recovery rate of 67%. 21 cities including Ezhou and Zhuxi County have resumed all bus lines, and Wuhan has also restored some night shift lines. On March 29, the province put into operation 8,779 buses, sending 1.3 million passengers. Among them, Shiyan City has a passenger flow of more than 200,000, ranking first in the province; Xiangyang and Huangshi City have a passenger flow of more than 100,000; Wuhan City has a passenger flow of more than 50,000, and a total of 75,000 passengers traveled by bus in the first four days.

Relevant sources of the Provincial Transportation Management Bureau said that with the further restoration of the line, the number of passengers taking buses will continue to grow. Especially after Wuhan City deregulated on April 8, passenger traffic will further increase.

In terms of taxis, except that nearly 6,000 taxis in Wuhan still participate in the epidemic prevention and transport guarantee, a total of 25,180 taxis in other cities have resumed normal operations.
