The patient was a 44-year-old male, a Macao resident, who arrived in Hong Kong from the United Kingdom through the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Port on March 18th. At that time, he was arranged for medical observation at the Golden Crown China Hotel in accordance with the quarantine measures of the Health Bureau; The sample and the nasopharyngeal swab sample on March 22 were negative for the detection of the new coronavirus. The nasopharyngeal swab test was performed again on March 29. The sample results were positive for the detection of the new coronavirus and the diagnosis was confirmed as the new coronavirus pneumonia.
The patient is in normal condition and will be admitted to the isolation ward of Earl Grey General Hospital.
