Confined and organized, the 10 tips to make your children work effectively with a schedule
An effective schedule is provisional and co-constructed with the family because it can be modified after the first week.
We build it on a sheet in landscape format, from Monday to Friday (we also work on Wednesday!) And we display the MORNING and AFTERNOON boxes
All the elements already planned are placed there: races, meal times, home sports session, etc.
Wake-up time from Monday to Friday: no later than 9:00 a.m. to start learning at 10:00 a.m.
On a separate sheet, note all the materials to be worked, then highlight them each in a different color. Thus, in the planning, by showing the corresponding colors, we will see at a glance what we are working too much and / or not enough.
The ideal learning time is between 30 and 45 minutes. Do not hesitate to stay on this rhythm, by cutting each learning period with a 5/10 minute break.
To gain confidence and a dynamic of success, we start and always end the day with a material that we like, in which we feel comfortable.
We prefer in the morning for materials that we find difficult, because it is the time of day when our brain is most fit. Right after the first exercise which gives us confidence, for example.
Every morning, we take the time to remember what we learned the day before, by brushing our teeth or telling someone, for example.
This “reactivation” of acquired knowledge helps to develop long-term memorization.
Finally, we learn by playing games, multiple choice questions, riddles, fun exercises ... because a learning brain is above all an active brain that questions itself.
