20 Japanese returning home Confirmed infection by quarantine Narita Airport and Haneda Airport March 31 1:12

Twenty people, including Japanese returning from Europe and South America, were tested at a quarantine station at the airport and found to be infected with the new coronavirus.

According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, infections were confirmed in 20 men and women, including 19 Japanese and one German, in their 20s and 70s, with the exception of three unidentified people.

Twenty people have stayed in Europe and South America and arrived at Narita and Haneda airports from 27th to 29th of this month, and were tested at a quarantine station to confirm the infection.

Two of them have symptoms such as coughs and abnormal smell, and the other 18 have no symptoms.

Infections have now been confirmed at the airport quarantine station, for a total of 51 people.
