Use football to convince people to stay at home. A Marseille police officer had the idea on Friday of assembling stickers in OM colors on the windshield of his company car to encourage residents to respect the confinement rules. With a clear message “Stay at home” relayed immediately by the Sûreté des Bouches-du-Rhône.

The initiative gained momentum the next day when Dimitri Payet, player from Marseille, retweeted the message on his account, followed by nearly 675,000 people.

That's why I'm in love with this city ❤️ @marseille

The DDSP would now think of generalizing the message on all its police cars, according to La Provence .
