For many years Kerstin Behrendtz was a popular music editor on Sweden's radio. It was she who decided which songs to play in Sportextra and several other popular programs.

- Quite a few music editors become a name with the audience. But she stayed there and still calls listeners and talks about Kerstin. It says something about how she was, says Anna-Karin Larsson, music director of Swedish Radio, who worked with her for almost 15 years.

"Went extremely fast"

Just over a week ago, Kerstin Behrendtz got cold. Last weekend, she was taken to the hospital after it was confirmed that the 69-year-old had the corona virus.

- Then it went extremely fast. She talked to a few colleagues last weekend on the phone and told her she was consumed. She had problems with breathing then, says Anna-Karin Larsson.

"It's for real"

Kerstin Behrendtz's daughter tells SVT that the grief after her mother is unbelievably great and refers to what she writes on Facebook:

“Loved Mom, you were and are the most loving, caring, funniest and nicest person I have ever met. Above all, you were the strongest and in my world completely steadfast. "

But despite the lack, she takes this opportunity to emphasize the seriousness of the situation.

“And to all of you who are still joking, waving away, talking about financial crises and wondering why exactly NI must cancel any mountain trips or visits to Östermalmshallen, THIS IS TRUE !!! It's about life and death. Be careful. Take care of each other!!"
