Doctors at the American Academy of Ophthalmology have warned that conjunctivitis may be a symptom of infection with the Corona virus in some people, relying on the results of data collected by Chinese doctors, stating that conjunctivitis was diagnosed in one of 30 people with Covid 19.
The doctors pointed to another study confirming that it had discovered 19 cases of conjunctivitis among 1099 patients with coronavirus in China, which were included in the study, which relies on data of 30 hospitals from different parts of the country, according to the site «Russia Today».
The doctors reminded that "Covid 19" is not the only cause of conjunctivitis, but its appearance in the patient may make ophthalmologists the first to suspect that the patient has a corona.
