Kyoto City has announced that four students attending Kyoto Sangyo University in Kita-ku, Kyoto have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
According to Kyoto, one out of four traveled to five countries in Europe, including the United Kingdom, France, and Spain, returned to Japan on the 14th, and then attended farewell parties.
Kyoto is examining the health of about 50 people who may have contacted their students.
A total of 44 people have been infected in Kyoto Prefecture.
