Two U.S. Air Force soldiers at Kadena Air Base were confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.

On April 28, Kadena Air Base announced on Facebook that two Air Force soldiers returning to Okinawa recently from Europe were confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.

One of them was restricted for 15 days, and said that the only close contacts were family members, but did not disclose their condition.

As for the other person, according to a report from the Kadena Air Base that entered Okinawa Prefecture on the night of the 28th, their actions were restricted from the 16th after returning to Okinawa on the 12th of this month.

The condition is unknown, but the soldiers are currently isolated at Kadena Air Base, and close contacts are restricted.
