Kyoto City has announced that it has been confirmed that two people, a woman in her 50s living in the city and a woman in her 30s returning from the UK, are infected with the new coronavirus.
Among them, a woman in her 50s in the city was diagnosed with severe pneumonia after visiting a medical institution in the city after fever on 19th of this month. He is not working and does not know the route of the infection.
In addition, a woman in her 30s lives in the United Kingdom and returned to Japan via Haneda and Osaka airports on March 21 to return home with three family members. Two days later, she had fever and cough.
Kyoto City is planning to monitor the health of families in the future.
A total of 37 people were infected in Kyoto Prefecture.
