More than 8,000 infections by coronavirus in just 24 hours. The numbers of infected in Spain continue to grow and there are already 56,188 infected, according to the latest data from the Ministry of Health. The number of deaths also continue to increase and there are already 4,089 people killed by Covid-19, 655 more than this Wednesday, of which 3,679 have needed to be admitted to the ICU (513 more) and 7,015 have been cured (1,648 more).
The Community of Madrid continues to be the most affected, with 17,166 positives, 2,090 deaths, 1,221 in the ICU and 3,882 discharged. It is followed by Catalonia, which in recent days is experiencing a large increase: 11,592 cases, 672 deaths, 1,021 in intensive care and 1,697 have been cured.
