As the Covid-19 epidemic continues to progress in the country, a complaint against X will be lodged by the collective Inter Urgences (CIU) to "highlight" the "responsibilities of each" at the end of the crisis , we learn this Wednesday.

This complaint, filed with the Paris prosecutor, will relate to facts of "involuntary homicide" and "involuntary violence", as well as "willful failure to take measures to combat a disaster" and "deliberate endangerment" of the lives of others ". This collective, at the origin of an unprecedented emergency strike started a year ago, made this decision during a board meeting.

Nursing staff "in danger"

"In addition to the problems denounced for a year by hospital collectives and union organizations, it is regrettable the absence of measures in accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO), the scientific council and the available scientific literature at the time of the arrival of the Covid-19 epidemic on French territory ", affirms the collective in its press release.

"As it stands, this situation has put and continues to place the nursing staff in danger," he adds, deploring the "lack of equipment, personal protection, tests, means and decisions within protect hospital staff. " At least five doctors have died in France from the new coronavirus.

Online complaint models

The CIU, which instructed Me Arié Alimi to file this complaint, states that it "aims to accelerate decision-making by the government for the emergency delivery of suitable equipment". The collective indicates that it is joining the action launched via the plaintecovid.fr site, set up by a network of lawyers, which offers models of complaints intended for carers, patients and individuals fearing to be contaminated.

In addition, at least five complaints against members of the government have been received by the Court of Justice of the Republic. Submitted either by non-sick individuals or by associations, they target Prime Minister Edouard Philippe and either the current Minister of Health Olivier Véran, or his predecessor Agnès Buzyn.
