He was able to leave the hospital. On Tuesday, a 30-year-old man suspected of being involved in the murder of a 37-year-old man was indicted for intentional homicide and a crime scene modification, public prosecutor Philippe Astruc said. He was placed in pre-trial detention. On March 18, this suspect was arrested along with another 32-year-old man during the investigation into the discovery of a partially burned lifeless body abandoned in a supermarket cart on the Beaulieu campus in Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine). He had been hospitalized, his condition making it impossible to continue his police custody. The other man was charged and placed in pre-trial detention.

Little is known yet about the circumstances of the murder. The two suspects and the victim are said to have spent the evening together on Sunday in one of their apartments. On Monday morning, employees of a company alerted the police after discovering the partially stripped body in a covered parking lot.

Traces of violence

The autopsy of the body revealed the presence of various traumatic lesions. The body was partially burned, especially on the face. "The investigations are continuing under the authority of the investigating magistrate in order to detail the precise role of the two protagonists," said the prosecutor.
