In addition, the base is disinfected daily, and the breeders closely observe and record the behavior and status of the animals, food intake, drinking water, feces, and spirit.

It is reported that during the closed period, the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base researched and formulated comprehensive protective measures in order to ensure the safety of the park and ensure the normal breeding management and research of all animals. A large number of bamboos were stored in the base for the first time, and experts provided emergency panda bamboo food supply plans. In order to prevent cross-infection between humans and animals, breeders adopt a work system that does not take vacations or change positions to ensure the health of animals and people, and daily routines such as breeding, child rearing, environmental enrichment, behavior training, epidemic prevention and control, and treatment. Work is proceeding normally.

On March 17, the giant panda "Fuwa" gave birth to the first pair of male giant panda twins this year; on March 21, the giant panda "Zhizhi" gave birth to a male giant panda. At present, the three newborn cubs have good physical indications. (Finish)
