The arrested was Masato Oka, a 47-year-old employee of Yokohama City.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, in January, a 12-year-old sixth-year-old girl she met at SNS was suspected of having sexually assaulted at a hotel in Sayama City, Saitama Prefecture.
He used a photo from a young age to invite a girl to meet at SNS and take him to the hotel by car.
The Metropolitan Police Department, which was consulted by a girl, conducted an investigation based on the exchange of smartphones and security cameras at the hotel, and was arrested.
In response to the investigation, Oka acknowledged that he had committed "obscene behavior with a 12-year-old girl".
The number of children affected by crimes caused by the use of SNS has been increasing rapidly recently, and according to the National Police Agency, last year the number was 2082 nationwide in the past year, the highest number ever.
