Kenny Rogers, an American country music star, passed away peacefully at the age of 81 surrounded by his family last night. It is a musical legend of the 70s and 80s who sold records by the millions who died.

The Gambler is one of Kenny Rogers' best-known hits which led the hit parade 24 times in the 70s and 80s when country music was at its peak in the United States. Released in November 1978, the album sold between 30 and 35 million copies.
