Saitama Prefecture has announced that four new cases have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
The infection was confirmed in four men: a man in his 70s in Shiki, a man in his 50s in Okegawa, a man in his 20s in Sayama, and a man in his 50s in Kasukabe.
Of these, the man from Kasukabe has no recent overseas travel history, and all three have returned from Europe this month. In both cases, the condition is stable, and the prefecture is looking into detailed actions and close contacts.
The number of people infected with the new coronavirus announced in Saitama Prefecture now totals 39.
