At 11:40 on the same day, the vehicle arrived at the Chengdu Blood Center. After Mr. Xiong added food, he went straight to the plasma donation site for patients with new coronary pneumonia in the blood center. After health consultation and preliminary blood screening, Mr. Xiong stepped onto the blood collection vehicle, and the staff took 400 ml of plasma, which took more than an hour.
It is understood that Mr. Xiong is 37 years old. He is a young man from Hubei and his wife is Chinese. On January 31, Mr. Xiong was diagnosed with new coronary pneumonia in Neijiang. After treatment, he was discharged on February 12.
Mr. Xiong is very grateful for the help and careful treatment provided by the local party committee, government and medical staff in Neijiang. Hearing that the plasma of the recovered person is helpful for the treatment of patients with rapid disease progression, severe and critically ill patients, he immediately expressed his willingness to donate.

On March 13, when receiving a call from the staff of the blood station in the city center of Neijiang, Mr. Xiong promised to come down. On the day of departure, Mr. Xiong got up at 7 in the morning and had only soy milk and steamed buns for breakfast, which was very light.
During the donation, Mr. Xiong was slightly nervous as he watched the bright red blood slowly flow down the catheter into the apheresis machine. Encouraged by the staff, he quickly relaxed: "I hope these plasmas can help patients with new coronary pneumonia and wish them a speedy recovery."

On March 13th, the blood center of Neijiang City received a notification that it was necessary to collect the plasma of the recovering people. Qi Ping said that before receiving the notification from the Chengdu Blood Center, the Neijiang health department and the blood station had treated 22 discharged patients. Publicity mobilization was carried out. First solicit their wishes, and then judge whether their age, physical condition and other conditions meet the donation criteria. At present, 14 people have signed up to express their willingness to donate. The plasma collected in Chengdu this time will be tested in accordance with relevant procedures.
