Guangzhou reported the first overseas imported confirmed case on the 15th. It used to live in Tianhe District and identified 32 close contacts.
On March 15th, one new confirmed case of neonatal coronary pneumonia was imported from Guangzhou. The patient returned from the Philippines via Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and was subsequently diagnosed. This is the first overseas imported case in Guangzhou.
Patient Gao, male, 50 years old, Heilongjiang nationality, works in the Philippines and lives in the Philippines.
At 20:10 on March 13th, Gao arrived at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (flight number CZ398) from Manila, Philippines, and the customs department collected the throat swabs for inspection. At 22:45 Gao took a taxi to the network and checked into an apartment on Zhujiang East Road in Tianhe District at 23:22.
At 8:30 on March 14, Guangzhou Customs reported that Gao's throat swab was positive for new crown virus nucleic acid. On the same day, the city CDC's review result was positive. At 12:30 on March 14th, the Eighth People's Hospital of Guangzhou City Gao was connected to the hospital for observation. On admission, Gao had no cough or shortness of breath. On March 15, Gao had a bronchial pneumonia symptom. After expert consultation, he was diagnosed as a new case of pneumonitis (mild).
As of March 15, a total of 32 close contacts had been identified, of which 14 were in Guangzhou and 18 were outside. The 14 close contacts in Guangzhou have all been quarantined in isolation; the 18 close contacts in other places have been sent to the relevant departments for consultation.
The disease control department carried out terminal disinfection on its premises and other related places.
