[Explanation] Affected by the new crown pneumonia epidemic, many schools press the "pause button" to start school. Although many schools have launched online teaching of "non-stop classes", many rural students still have problems such as difficulty in attending classes.

Recently, in Hengshan County, Hunan Province, junior junior student Liu Xinyu and classmate Zhao Ziwei faced a mobile phone and were taking an "online lesson". The teacher combed the knowledge points in the form of questions in the WeChat group, two people or quickly typed to answer the question, or used a notebook to copy the key content.

But before that, Liu Xinyu was distressed for several days on the Internet class. It turned out that the wildberry valley village where her family lived was a mountain more than 600 meters above sea level, no WiFi was installed at home, and the mobile phone network signal was also unstable.

Sometimes there will be a network card. After the network card, for example, you do n’t do your own homework (class), but the teacher asks the problem and let us do it by yourself. You will miss many questions assigned by the teacher, and then wait until the network is ready. It's almost time for class.

[Explanation] Occasionally, Liu Xinyu learned that classmate Zhao Ziwei had WiFi at his home, and after obtaining the consent of his family, he came to the classmate “Yunwang” for class. After learning about this situation, the school specifically asked the teacher to change the live video to WeChat teaching according to the special situation of the students in the mountain area. The teachers and students of 8 disciplines were in the same WeChat group. There were four large classes and one stylistic activity per day class. In addition, the teacher will answer the children's difficult questions face to face through home visits.

Now, it is mainly for students to sort out the original knowledge and review them. After the original basic knowledge is firm, and then the textbooks are released, we will take a new class.

[Explanation] Tan Zeyong, principal of Lingpo Central School of Hengshan County, told reporters that since the "Cloud Classroom" was officially opened on February 14, the school has explored a series of online teaching methods that are suitable for students in mountainous areas, such as checking exercise volume through WeChat steps and helping Do housework and take pictures in the group, fill in the score sheet in class, etc. The student online rate has also increased from 50% at the beginning to more than 95% now.

We especially hope that through this suspension, we will let children know that we have social knowledge in addition to book knowledge. We must make students understand that life is the classroom, society is the classroom, and the front line of epidemic prevention is the classroom.

[Explanation] Tan Zeyong said that although the new textbooks have been "dust sealed" in the classroom for many days, with the improvement of the epidemic situation, I believe that the school will soon hear the sound of books. After the start of the school, the school will also check the students' online learning to fill in the gaps to ensure that a student is not left behind.
