The defense of Amber Heard is once again undermined by the lawyers of Johnny Depp. As part of the defamation lawsuit that the actor in Pirates of the Caribbean brought him, Kate James, a former employee of the actress, testified to the "black rages" that she suffered from her boss.
“Amber was regularly verbally and morally abusive and often yelled at me for the smallest things. She was going through such rages and no one could reason her. Luxury, drugs and free
Kate James was in the service of Amber Heard, as a personal assistant, between 2012 and 2015. She was therefore at the forefront from the beginning of the romance between Johnny Depp and the star of Aquaman , who divorced in 2016 after 15 months of marriage. She explains that the actress did not immediately reveal the identity of her companion, preferring to call him "the old man with whom I am dating". The former assistant also adds that when Amber Heard understood that she could ask for "designer clothes for free just because she was his girlfriend", it became "a big part of my job of contacting several brands to ask them for clothes to the eye ".
Kate James also accuses Amber Heard of taking drugs and not hiding from it. “Amber Heard often took drugs during the period of my employment contract, taking hallucinogenic mushrooms and MDMA. (…) The mixture of drugs and a large quantity of wine meant that, when I woke up in the morning, I had received a heap of textures as abusive as inconsistent from Amber between 2 and 4 hours of morning. I later found out that she had erased all of the evidence from these iCloud account abuse messages, ”she explains.
Kate James describes Amber Heard as someone who wants to control everything, who "was paranoid about anyone entering space (from Johnny Depp) and also being watched by his own safety", and " couldn't stand it when I was talking to Johnny. "
Kate James also claims to have never witnessed the violence described by her former boss at the hands of Johnny Depp, whom she describes as someone "calm and almost shy".
