The Hautes-Pyrénées recorded their first confirmed case of coronavirus on Thursday. According to the regional health agency Occitanie (ARS), a 45-year-old woman tested positive for Covid-19. She was hospitalized in Tarbes, and "her condition is not serious," say the authorities.

The forties is a healthcare professional. Because of her job, "the necessary measures have been put in place with the establishment" where she works, says ARS Occitanie, without giving further details.

Three confirmed cases in the Gers

In addition, three separate cases have been confirmed in the Gers: a 73-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman domiciled in the north of the department, treated at the Toulouse University Hospital, as well as a 52-year-old patient, installed in the east of the department and isolated at home, because his condition does not require hospitalization.

Pending the update on Thursday, ARS Occitanie recorded Wednesday evening 90 confirmed cases of Covid-19 throughout the region.
